NEW PARK UPDATES COMING SOON!
As your Homeowners Association Board, we want to welcome you to our online neighborhood hub. More importantly, we want to welcome you into the conversation!
We aren’t just a board behind a screen—we are your neighbors. Many of us have lived in Lincolnshire for years, raising our kids on these very streets, watching them play at the neighborhood park, and building deep roots right alongside you. Because our families live and grow here, we are deeply invested in making sure our community remains a safe, vibrant, and family-friendly place for everyone.
President
Ben and his wife, Emily, have proudly called Lincolnshire home for the past ten years, where they are raising their two daughters and one son. They value the strong sense of community the neighborhood offers and enjoy being active members of it.
Ben is a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects, where he previously served as president of the local chapter. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional, specializing in Building Design and Construction.
At home, Ben is often found “tinkering” on projects around the house. He also enjoys traveling with his family, playing soccer, watching movies, and reading in his free time. Ben looks forward to continuing to serve the community and helping make Lincolnshire a great place to live for all residents.
Vice President
Ryan has lived in Lincolnshire for almost 5 years. He enlisted in the United States Marine
Corps right out of high school and served in the infantry. He then graduated from Benedictine University in Springfield with a Bachelor’s in Communications. Ryan is now a Springfield Firefighter, because of this he is able to serve his community and make a difference, even if some of those times are the darkest of their lives. Ryan plans to use his dedication and be of service to the residents of Lincolnshire.
Last summer Ryan and his wife, Julie, began Movies in the Park for all to gather and grow our sense of community. They want to continue to foster an environment of connectionand inclusion.
Ryan’s goals for the board are transparency by openly communicating meeting minutes, streamline communication pathways, and working with the knowledge and expertise that
surrounds us. Please vote for Ryan to serve our wonderful neighborhood.
Secretary
Lindsay Evans and her family have lived on Windshire Drive since 2015. Lindsay is an attorney and recently returned to State employment after practicing, primarily, in the area of criminal defense. Outside of work, she enjoys running, being outdoors and spending time with her children, ages 10, 12 and 15.
Lindsay looks forward to serving as Secretary and will work to restore trust and confidence in the Board. She believes our Homeowner’s Association can best serve our neighborhood by demonstrating a commitment to community, efficiency, and transparency.
Treasurer
Jill has proudly called the Lincolnshire subdivision home for the past five and a half years. She currently works for the Illinois State Police and previously served as a police officer in Springfield—so you could say she has a professional interest in keeping things orderly (and occasionally asking a few questions).
Jill is a parent to one adult daughter and two grade-school-aged children, which means she has plenty of experience managing competing priorities, resolving disputes, and stretching a budget—skills that seem to translate surprisingly well to HOA matters.
Like many of you, she’s had her share of questions (and let’s be honest, a few frustrations) about how neighborhood issues have been handled in recent years. She believes we can do better when it comes to transparency, communication, and making sure our assessment dollars are working as hard as we do.
Jill is plans to help bring a little more clarity to what’s going on, ensure every resident has a voice (and knows how to use it), and make certain our collective contributions are used in ways that benefit the entire community. At the very least, she promises to help make HOA discussions a bit easier to follow—and maybe even a little less painful.
Asst. Treasurer
Laurel is running for a position on our Homeowners Association Board and as someone invested in the future of our neighborhood, she wants to offer her leadership experience and commitment to a fair, open community to help our HOA thrive.
Laurel has spent the last 18 years working as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at
Springfield Memorial Hospital. Currently, she leads the Main Operating Room at SMH. Managing a high-volume, high-stakes surgical department has taught her how to handle complex budgets, coordinate diverse teams, and solve problems efficiently under pressure. She plans to bring that same level of professional discipline and organizational focus to our board.
Laurel has been married to her husband, Todd, for 13 years, and are the proud parents of their six-year-old daughter, Lena. They have called this neighborhood home since late June of 2022 and truly love the sense of community here.
Laurel is excited to be on the board because she wants to ensure our neighborhood remains safe, welcoming, and well- maintained for all our families to enjoy.
Laurel’s approach will be guided by three main principles:
• An Equal Voice for Everyone: Laurel cares deeply about ensuring that every resident has
an equal seat at the table. Whether a resident has lived here for twenty years or twenty
days, she believes their perspective matters.
• Transparency: Laurel believes residents should never have to wonder how decisions are being made. She will advocate for clear insight into board actions and financial oversight.
• Strong Communication: Drawing on her leadership background, Laurel prioritizes proactive and honest dialogue. She wants to ensure residents are always informed and heard before major decisions are finalized.
Laurel is excited to serve the Lincolnshire community and work alongside everyone to keep the Lincolnshire neighborhood a place everyone is proud to call home.
