HOMEOWNER ASSESSMENT FEE

A $150 annual assessment fee is paid by all Lincolnshire Homeowners each May. All homeowners receive an invoice for the assessment plus information for the LHA Annual Meeting.

Annual meetings are held each May. Check the "Events" page on the website, the Newsletter, and/or Facebook page for board meeting information and dates.

SCHOOL DISTRICT

Lincolnshire has a Springfield mailing address and is proudly served by the Ball-Chatham School District. Ball-Chatham CUSD 5 determines elementary school attendance zones (for grades Pre-K through 4) strictly by geographic address. Lincolnshire Subdivision's elementary school is Glenwood Elementary School (GES).

SAVE MONEY ON TAXES - Check your Homestead and Senior Exemption on Real Estate Taxes

Check your property taxes and make sure you have the Homestead Exemption and Senior Exemption (if you are 65 years old or older).

HERE IS HOW TO CHECK:

Go to the Sangamon County website here: Search for Parcels and enter in your name or address.

DROP DOWN TO CURRENT BILLING DETAILS

LOOK AT BOTTOM LEFT ASSESSMENT INFORMATION

DON'T SEE THE EXEMPTION(S)!?!?

If this is your primary home and you don't see Owner Occupied, then you need to get it added!

This saves $6,000 off your assessed value of your home.

If you're 65 or older and don't see Senior Citizen, you need to get it added!

This saves $5,000 off your assessed value of your home.

HERE'S HOW TO GET IT ADDED

Go to Reports/Forms - For Tax Payers - Choose 1 or both applications

Homestead Exemption requires copy of license with home address to prove primary residency.

Senior Exemption requires a license or ID for proof of birth date.
