Hello Lincolnshire!!!

From the Lincolnshire HOA:

There's been a lot of interest in what the HOA has been doing to help our drainage ditches issue. The good news is things are improving. We continue trying to do the best we can with working on the situation. More work to do, so we appreciate your patience in advance. With that said, we'd like to share some information surrounding the Lincolnshire Drainage Ditch System issues and how we've played a role to assist:

First, our Drainage Ditch System has the Highest Priority of the HOA

• Recent Repairs have included removal of obstructions that prevented proper water flow on Wexford. Removed and reinstalled damaged cement blocks in the drainage wall on Renwick Drive

• Drainage system has a complete cleaning (twice) yearly using specialized equipment
Cleanings occur in May and late October to early November based on completion of falling leaves

• Partnership with Illinois Department of Transportation to keep sewer lines and storm drains open to the south of Lincolnshire to ensure proper water flow out of our subdivision.

• Partnership with City of Springfield Public Works to help keep storm drains open to ensure proper flow of water within our drainage system.

• No funds are diverted from the maintenance of the drainage system for other projects

Continuous Reminders:

• We must all continue to be mindful not to blow grass or weed clippings into our drainage ditches

• Remind our children not to walk or play in the drainage ditch canal

We are trying our best on this project. The HOA is very appreciative of the companies and agencies involved that have helped us successfully in obtaining positive results.
